(5/18/2013) Download the updated Schedule for the Moves/Freestyle Test , Sunday, May 19, 2013, at CJ.

(5/15/2013) Join us Saturday, June 1, 2013 for the WFSC Annual Meeting, Artistic/Improv Competition, Wheeler Award, Gold Medal Awards, and Board Member Elections, at the Mount Vernon RECenter for food, skating, and business. Wheeler Award nominations must be received by May 21st. Vote for Board representatives. Adult members will be sent a ballot by email before this meeting. Skaters may also compete in the Artistic/Improv Competition with an exhibition program or improvise to mystery music.

(5/15/2013) Club Membership expires June 30, 2013. Renewal for 2013-14 will be available online through Entryeeze. All members will receive an e-mail with membership renewal information. This information will also be posted here on WFSC.NET. Communication: An active email address is required for WFSC membership. Please keep in mind that our primary means of communication with our members is through email, postings on our website, our Facebook page, and our Twitter page.

(3/30/2013) Congratulations to the DC EDGE Adult and Masters teams for winning the bronze and silver medals at the 2013 US National Synchronized Skating Championships!

(2/11/2013) Congratulations to the Capitol Steps Junior Team for winning the Bronze Medal at the Eastern Synchronized Skating Sectional Championship in Lake Placid, NY. They qualify for Nationals and will compete at the US Synchronized Skating Championship, Plymouth, MI on February 28 and 29. Good luck to all our skaters! The Capitol Steps will host an Open House and Skate-With-Us on February 23, 745a-945a, at Kettler Capitals Iceplex. All teams will perform and new skaters can join the teams on-ice. Cake will follow to send-off the Junior Team to Nationals. Skills Clinics and Tryouts begin in March. Info.

Permission Letter for Out of Club Testing. If you are a WFSC member planning to test with a different club, you are required to obtain a letter of permission before testing. Please complete this form to get your Letter of Permission processed. Applicants will receive a confirmation when they submit the request form as well as a copy of the approval when the request is sent to the appropriate test chair. NOTE: Requests must be submitted at least three days / 72 hours in advance of the requested test.

(6/24/2012) Due to outstanding participation in this year's Club Election, the 501(c)(3) vote passed overwhelmingly! Thanks to all who took the time to make their voice heard. At the Annual Club Meeting today, Melanie Chang was presented with the 2012 Wheeler Award! New and returning Board Members were elected and announced: Najja Bracey, Michelle Daichman, Juleann Fallgatter, Judy Reiner, and Marcia Sowles. WFSC President Peter Tsai and Treasurer Konrad Huppi reported that the Club is in a strong financial position, due in large part to the efforts of volunteers in running competitions and test sessions. We are looking forward to holding the Potomac Open, a send-off for the 2013 South Atlantic Regionals, the New Year's Adult Invitational, the Club Competition, and the Edward G. Picken Pro Am Dance Classic in 2012-2013. Thanks for everyone's hard work and have a great season!
